Terms & Policies

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE PLACING AN ORDER OR BOOKING A SERVICE.

By purchasing a product, booking a service, or participating in any ritual or group working offered by Sacred Thorns Botanica & Apothecary, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms and policies.

Here are the updated sections for Sacred Thorns Botanica & Apothecary, with a clearer 24-hour cancellation policy and a fairer damaged-shipment policy. You can replace the corresponding sections in your Terms & Policies with the following.

1. Product Orders & Shipping Policy

• Order Cancellation Window: Customers may request to cancel an order within 24 hours of purchase, provided the order has not already been processed for fulfillment or shipped. Once an order has been processed or shipped, cancellation may no longer be possible. If an eligible cancellation is approved, a refund will be issued to the original payment method. Cancellation requests must be submitted by email within the 24-hour window.

• Shipping Responsibility: Once an order has been shipped, tracking information will be provided when available. Sacred Thorns Botanica & Apothecary is not responsible for shipping delays, theft after confirmed delivery, or circumstances outside our control. If a package is lost, delayed, or marked as delivered but cannot be located, customers should contact USPS to initiate an inquiry or claim. Each situation will be reviewed individually, and any available resolution will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

• Damaged Shipments: If your order arrives damaged, please email Sacred Thorns Botanica & Apothecary within 48 hours of delivery. Include your order number and clear photographs of the damaged item, packaging, and shipping label. Please retain the original packaging until the issue has been reviewed.

• Replacement & Resolution: Once the damage claim has been reviewed and approved, Sacred Thorns Botanica & Apothecary will determine an appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement or refund, depending on the circumstances and applicable law. If the damage occurred during shipping or resulted from an issue with the order, the customer will not be charged additional shipping fees for an approved replacement.

• Lost or Stolen Packages: Refunds and replacements for packages reported as lost or stolen will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Orders confirmed as delivered but subsequently stolen may require a carrier inquiry or other supporting documentation before a resolution is considered.

• Final Sale Policy: All product sales are final after the applicable cancellation window, except for approved claims involving damaged, defective, or incorrect items and any other circumstances in which a refund or replacement is required by law.

2. Booking & Scheduling Policy

• Availability: Appointments must be booked using the calendar provided on the booking website. Only the dates and times displayed on the calendar are available. Additional appointments outside the posted availability will not be offered unless explicitly authorized by Sacred Thorns Botanica & Apothecary.

• Time Zone: All appointment times are listed in Central Time (CT).

• Confirmation Email: After booking, clients will receive a confirmation email containing the details of their appointment. For virtual sessions, the email will include the Zoom link needed to attend.

• Age Requirement: All clients must be at least 18 years of age to purchase products or book services. By completing a purchase or booking, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

• Client Responsibility: Clients are responsible for reviewing their booking details, attending appointments on time, and contacting Sacred Thorns Botanica & Apothecary if they are unable to attend.

3. Cancellation, Refund & No-Show Policy

• Appointment Cancellations: Clients may cancel an eligible appointment at least 48 hours (two days) before the scheduled appointment date to receive a full refund.

• Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment are not eligible for a refund.

• Typed Readings: All typed readings are final sale and non-refundable once purchased.

• Late Arrivals: Clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late will be considered a no-show and will not be eligible for a refund.

• Missed Appointments: Clients who miss a scheduled appointment may rebook, subject to availability, by paying a $5 rebooking fee. The rebooking request must be submitted within 24 hours of the missed appointment.

• Refunds After Service: Refunds will not be issued for services that have already been rendered or completed, except where required by applicable law.

Please note that the cancellation and refund policies for appointments do not override the separate non-refundable policy for typed readings.

4. Spellwork Consultation & Booking Requirements

• Required Consultations: All spellwork services require a consultation before the work is accepted or performed, with the exception of designated prosperity and protection workings. This requirement applies to both new and returning clients.

• Casting Schedule: After purchasing an eligible spellwork service, clients will receive an email confirming the anticipated casting date within 24–48 hours of purchase.

• Proof of Spellwork: Photographs and/or video clips documenting the working may be provided after the spellwork has been performed.

• Spellwork Updates: Spellwork reports, including any applicable photographs, videos, and interpretations, will be emailed within 5–10 business days, depending on the service and business schedule. Weekends and nationally recognized holidays are excluded from business-day calculations.

• Client Communication: Clients are responsible for ensuring that their email address is accurate and that messages from Sacred Thorns Botanica & Apothecary are not being filtered into spam or junk folders.

5. Group Ritual Policy

Group rituals and collective workings are handled differently from individual spellwork services.

• Individual email updates regarding group rituals will not be provided unless explicitly stated in the service description.

• Photographs and/or video clips from group rituals may be shared through Sacred Thorns Botanica & Apothecary's official social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Threads, and X.

• Purchasing participation in a group ritual does not guarantee individualized documentation, a personal report, or a private update.

6. Recasting Policy

Recasting requests are subject to review and approval by Sacred Thorns Botanica & Apothecary.

• Recasting Fee: Approved recastings are charged at 70% of the original price of the individual casting.

• Invoicing: Clients will receive an invoice reflecting the applicable recasting fee based on the original working.

• Payment Deadline: Recasting invoices must be paid within five business days of issuance to retain the assigned casting slot. Unpaid invoices may result in the slot being forfeited.

• Bundles & Promotional Services: Services purchased through bundles, discounts, or promotional sales are not eligible for recasting.

• Eligibility Period: Recasting requests may be submitted no earlier than three months after the original working has been completed. Eligibility does not guarantee approval or a particular outcome.

A recasting is a separate service and is not a guarantee that a desired result will occur.

7. Right to Refuse Service

Sacred Thorns Botanica & Apothecary reserves the right to decline, discontinue, or refuse service to any client at its discretion, subject to applicable law.

Orders or service requests may be declined if they involve inappropriate conduct, prohibited requests, unsafe practices, or activities outside the scope of services offered.

Any applicable refund for a service declined before completion will be handled in accordance with the applicable refund policy and governing law.

8. Professional Boundaries & Client Responsibility

Sacred Thorns Botanica & Apothecary provides spiritual, divination, ritual, and related services for personal reflection, entertainment, and novelty purposes.

• We are not medical providers, licensed mental health professionals, attorneys, or financial advisors.

• We do not provide medical diagnoses, mental health treatment, legal advice, or professional financial advice.

• Our services should not replace qualified professional guidance when addressing medical, mental health, legal, financial, or other significant personal matters.

• Clients are solely responsible for their personal decisions and actions. Spiritual services are not a substitute for independent judgment or professional assistance.

• We do not accept requests involving medical diagnoses, predictions of death, or assistance with illegal activities.

Sacred Thorns Botanica & Apothecary does not guarantee specific outcomes from spiritual readings, rituals, or spellwork.

9. Disclaimer of Results & Liability

All readings, spiritual consultations, rituals, and spellwork services are offered for entertainment, novelty, and personal spiritual reflection.

• No Guaranteed Results: Spiritual work is not guaranteed to produce a specific outcome, influence another person's decisions, or change a particular circumstance.

• Free Will: Our services do not guarantee control over another person's thoughts, feelings, behavior, or choices.

• No Professional Substitute: These services are not intended to replace medical, psychological, legal, or other professional services.

• Client Discretion: Clients are responsible for how they interpret and apply information received through readings or spiritual services.

• Limitation of Responsibility: To the extent permitted by applicable law, Sacred Thorns Botanica & Apothecary disclaims responsibility for decisions, actions, or outcomes arising from a client's use or interpretation of these services.

Nothing in this disclaimer limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

10. Final Agreement

By purchasing a product, booking a service, or participating in a ritual offered by Sacred Thorns Botanica & Apothecary, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these Terms & Policies.
